We overnighted in Churi Letdar which was very primitive and very very cold. I awoke the next morning feeling terrible, with my cold in full flow and clear AMS symptoms. Since the plan was to aim for Thorong La high camp that day - another 600m climb - I bit the bullet, made my decision and decided I would return to Manang and fly to Pokhara. So the others pressed on, and Olive and I descended all the wya to Humre.
