So, back in semi-civilisation, we considered whether to attempt to make it to Tatopani in time to meet the others but the Maoist bandh (general strike) put paid to those plans... In the end we spent eight days here waiting for the other then another three with them. Pokhara if anything is even more ramshackle than Kathmandu, but less chaotic and had plenty to offer. After Manang it seemed fantastically warm and rather humid because of the huge lake Phewa.
